"Oyster" A traditional form drawing on Arches 300 lb. hot pressed paper. A detailed graphite drawing is completed on a hand toned paper. The darks are modified with India ink and the lights are developed using white egg tempera. The building was once a packing plant and a ship chandlery among other manifestations. It is now becoming a shadow of history on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The drawing was an opportunity to envision the glory days.
